Residential Clinical Director - Firefly Children and Family Alliance

This position is critical for providing program leadership and oversight to produce positive client outcomes and desired fiscal performance. Rachel Glick Courage Center Program Director will also provide training, direct consultation, and certification evaluations to all Teaching Family Model program staff in a 24 hour secure residential setting. The Residential Program Directors will work in collaboration with Clinical Program Director and Access Program Director to achieve desired program goals
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership / Management (55 %)
Oversee strategy and clinical goals for the residential programs
Ensure grantor / customer satisfaction
Ensure staff are meeting work product expectations
Oversee clinical staffing needs of residential programs
Hire, hold accountable and, if necessary, terminate program staff
Provide training, coaching, and evaluations to program staff regarding the Teaching Family Model
Ensure program compliance with Teaching Family Model principles and accreditation expectations
Hold staff accountable to contractual service standards and ensure the processes and procedures are followed according to program standards for all funding sources and contracts
Respond to crisis calls from program staff
Relationship Development (25 %)
Build and maintain a strong network of relationships through collaboration and communication with DCS, Probation, mental health agencies, schools and community agencies
Work in a collaborative manner with internal staff, volunteers, corporate partners, board members, community partners and foundations
Deliver educational presentations throughout the community to support recruitment
Proactively market and sell the program through one-on-one interactions
Financials (10 %)
Responsible for program billing, budgets and contractual relationships within the programs
Oversight of bed utilization in order to ensure monthly budget targets are being met
Monitor monthly program billing to ensure payment is rendered in a timely manner and provide assistance in completion of billing, when necessary
Monitor Medicaid billing for clinical services rendered through Medicaid Clinic Option
Reporting (10 %)
Maintain case and agency paperwork according to standards
Oversee Continuous Quality Improvement processes, including gathering and reporting data related to Key Performance Indicators for each program
Job Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you need to have the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a related Social Services field required
LCSW/LMHC eligibility with current licensure preferred
Minimum of five (3) years paid experience in responsible supervisory or administrative capacity in Residential setting preferred
5 years of work experience in the field of child welfare or social service
A professional license is preferred but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective organization & time management skills
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license with valid insurance
