CONFERENCES
The Teaching-Family Association hosts two events every year.
TFA’s Mid-Year meeting focuses on leadership, work groups, ad-hoc task groups, management topics and training for TFA Members and their invited guests. This event includes meetings of the Board of Directors, Accreditation & Ethics, Development & Dissemination, Marketing, Research, and Annual Conference Committees. Shared expertise and networking are huge takeaways.
TFA’s Annual Conference is open for anyone to attend. This event is focused on professionals involved in the arenas of human and social services, education, mental health, and other service areas. The conference provides outstanding education for practitioners, managers, trainers, and administrators. Over 40 hours of concurrent educational programming is available over the course of 3 days. Keynote and Plenary speakers provide vision, inspiration, and the challenge to continually improve process and practice. Our Awards Banquet celebrates the amazing work and accomplishments of TFA Accredited Agency Practitioners and Consultants, and Association-level Awards honoring our roots and founders.
